First of all, the metrics of the deal are much higher than what they were when the asset were acquired last year at the top of the market. Yes, they had to invest in them but still a very nice return on investment, despite the disastrous move in oil and gas prices.
Second, the debt profile just went from ugly to one of the best ones in the sector.
Third, they just confirmed the significance of the Upper Shaunavon that is a gift that keeps on giving.
I view them as one of the best firms in the space. You can buy and hold on for years. It has had a nice run from the bottom but this one has more to come, especially with a long-term window. Plus a nice and (now more) secure yield. GLTA!
