RE:RE:RE:RE:The government of Kyrgyzstan has won at Stans Energy in arbiYes but eveything that comes out is never correct. It's a twisted version of stans truth to try and keep this company afloat! They openly stated cis was an advisory opinion and didn't matter. You think the canadian courts are going to ignore this decision. You can see what the established law firm say about it stating it was recognised as one of the 10 most important decisions in global arbitration! Where's that info from stans! It's just been unrealistic .

im getting incredibly tired of this! Why would a canadian court now disregard something like the below! It would cause uproar !!!

This appointment follows King & Wood Mallesons securing a landmark victory in September 2014 for the Government in a regional investment treaty interpretation case at the CIS Economic Court, where the Court recognised that a loosely drafted dispute resolution provision of the Moscow Convention for Protection of Investors’ Rights does not entitle investors to commence arbitration proceedings against States Parties to the Convention in any arbitration of their choice.

This judgment was recognised by Global Arbitration Review as being among the ten most important decisions of 2014. Lead counsel in the case for the Kyrgyz Republic was King & Wood Mallesons' Arbitration partner Andrei Yakovlev, who will also lead the current portfolio of work.
