RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Financing ...for consideration...CRAZYINVESTOR, YOU ASKED WHAT VOTERS WERE THINKING?
IF YOU OWNED A COMPANY THAT SPENT ALL ITS CASH RESERVES AND WENT 20 BILLION IN DEBT IN A SHORT TIME AND WAS PROMISING LESS RETURNS AND 5 BILLION MORE DEBT IN THE COMING YEAR, I BELIEVE YOU WOULD BE CRITICAL AND LOOKING FOR NEW MANAGEMENT.
I FOR ONE DON'T THINK THE VOTERS WERE WRONG TO BOOT THE PC'S TO HECK OUT OF HERE. THE FINANCIAL STRUTURE IN ALBERTA NEEDS TO BE CHANGED SO THE TAXPAYER OF TODAY AND THEIR GRANDCHILDREN OF TOMORROW ARE NOT SUBSIDISING INDUSTRY BECAUSE OF A STUPID "ALBERTA ADVANTAGE" CATCH PHRASE.
IF THE RESOURSE INDUSTRY AND CORPORATE ALBERTA CAN'T MAKE IT HERE AND PAY THEIR WAY, THEN GOODBY. LETS QUIT BUILDING ALL THE INFRASTRUCTURE TO SUPPORT THE INDUSTRY AND SETTLE INTO WHAT WE CAN AFFORD. THE OIL AND GAS WILL BE THERE FOR 100;S OF YEARS IF WE DON'T GIVE IT ALL AWAY.
ALL WE NEED NOW IS FOR SOMEMORE HOLLYWOOD NUT CASES TO COME UP HERE AND CRITICISE WHAT VOTERS HAVE DONE AND SUGGEST AN EVEN MORE ENVIRONMENTALY AWARE GOVERNMENT WOULD MAKE THE OIL COMPANIES RECLAIM ALL THE NONE PRODUCING AND ABANDONED WELL SITES. THAT WOULD SURE CLEAR THE O&G OUT.
THATS WHAT ONE VOTER WAS THINKING ANYWAYS. DF
