ND history

ND historyThere is no historical example of a sane and reasonable ND gov't. In every case they have left a fiscal and economic mess. They are what they are, and in Alberta, are drunk with expectations and power. The caucus is all union members, teachers, nurses, greens, first nations and pot heads, and their advisors are all ideologues and lefties.  Giving them a pass on the basis they will understand the economy and energy sector and be rational is a huge mistake. The most generous analysis under a modest tax and royalty increase targets COS at $10, and that is before factoring new, draconian environmental legislation that will accompany tax and royalty increases. Under the circumstances,  a person has to have their head in the sand to hold COS or any other Canadian energy company with significant Alberta oil and gas properties.
