RE:RE:A bit off topic...politics.....and diamonds!I was thinking of SWY with the article on Ontario.

SWY is already shelling out streaming diamonds.
What if the Quebec government added royalties like Ontario.

I think they actually would have more clout to do it...since they actually invested $$'s by way of road infrastructure.

I'm giving up trying to figure out economics on Renard at this point. Referencing an NPV value at this point is completely useless with capital money being spent on the project and loans and debt to be paid in the future.

Then co-relating a useless NPV figure and try to figure out a market cap for SWY is next to impossible.

A SWY shareholder needs to do some serious due diligence on project cash flow, where is the money going to, how much debt interest SWY will be paying for and for how many years. The large financing caused a material event and the outcome would need to be analyzed.

If you have serious $$'s in SWY and you haven't done this analysis, then could luck.

If you have some speculative $$'s in SWY, all the more power to you. See if they can drop out some massive stones...that is where the quick money will be made....after it gets to production that is.

This would be a strategy:

Buy SWY in the quarter leading up to full production.
Once in full production...give it 4 to 5 weeks to cough up a big stone.
Sell at week 5 if there is no stone and you probably have still broken even.
If they find a big stone...reset and decide what to do.

LONG...PGD
