RE:RE:Market CapWould you go into a wee bit more detail on what you are saying in your post. Specifically about the "two of the larger explosives companies did a due diligence and backed away without an offer."
I have heard that several larger explosives companies have looked at Nordex. I even heard the rumor that an offer of about a $1.00 for each $1.00 of sales was contemplated. Today it would be far cheaper for that or a company to buy shares on the open market, then make a take out offer.
Of course shareholders do not have to sell, but many will and a competitor could get the company fairly cheaply today. The large competitor would not even have to take 50% + 1 vote for effective control. If they succeeded, they would lock in a dedicated AN or detonator sales channel. This dedicated sales channel alone would be worth the investment.
I would not tender to their offer. I personally would prefer to partner with the Zucker Family Trust.I think that eventually there would be more money made with them. May all your investment s be happy ones.
