The Company serves various industries, such as defense, aerospace, automotive, telecommunications, precision manufacturing, and others. The Copper Alloys division manufactures and distributes a variety of copper alloys as castings and forgings, including beryllium copper, chrome copper, and aluminum bronze. The Engineered Materials division makes the Beralcast family of alloys, which can be precision cast and are used in an increasing number of defense, aerospace, and other systems, including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The Company’s products include Beryllium-Aluminum Castings, Beryllium Alloys, Copper Alloy Castings & Forgings, Copper Alloy Fabricated Shapes, Tolling Services and Consulting and Thermal Mold Super. It has production facilities in Indiana and Massachusetts.

With funding from the Air Force SBIR program, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, IBC’s PEO coatings have been qualified for the LAU-12X Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) missile launchers on F-15, F-16, F-18 and other aircraft platforms.
