RE:RE:RE:Ross & Dev's Excellent European Adventure?
"Just wondering: if Dev and Ross are putting suitors off, why are they in Europe? Sure it would be great if they'd been summoned by the heavyweights you mention, but it would be greater, more indicative of real interest, (and cheaper for us - I'm sure they're not flying coach) if the suitors were making field trips to the Basin." I make a living doing deals (not uranium deals) and lots of them. One thing I have learned is that while some deals are quick, most take time, sometimes years. I always keep the door open so that when the time is right, a deal can be done. If I were management of FCU and worried about the risk of an unsolicited low ball offer, I would want to make sure that all other potential bidders were up to speed on the fact so that they are ready to go if I need a competing bid. Leaving things until we are ready to sell is very dangerous as bidders will not necessarily respect our timelines. The more potential bidders that are up to speed the better.
