Spdr S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Etf V.XOP.W

Primary Symbol: XOP

The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index derived from the oil and gas exploration and production segment of a U. In seeking to track the performance of the S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Select Industry Index, the fund employs a sampling strategy. It generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index represents the oil and gas exploration and production segment of the S&P Total Market Index (S&P TMI).

RE:RE:agm

RE:RE:agmAGM had one guy giving Art a hard time about spending so much money and diluting stock without any near term cashflow.  Art claimed that monies were being raised privately in a Bermuda corporation to fund all the opportunities that XOP was exploring.  I think we all have to worry about financing being converted to shares  - and Art was not very clear on that.  In other words, we could hit it big on Liberia and find we have a bunch more shares out the door.  It is troubling that all of these items are discussed in a Q and A session, but they don't ever make their way into press releases.  Art's current claim is a minor environmental report needs to be obtained and then Exxon can be drilling in 6 to 9 months.  So according to him, Exxon has budget and will be driling in that timeframe.
