RE:RE:RE:New $2.2M School District Contract for Hamilton County TNJust so we can try and wrap our heads around what the potential market is for surveillance systems is U.S. schools, there are 130,000 primary and secondary (high) schools across the country, not counting universities and colleges.

This new contract covers 77 schools, so approximately $28,500 per school on average. Not to mention that 66 out of the 77 schools this contract covers had no video surveillance system to beging with.

That makes for a total potential market of over approximately 3.7B USD for U.S. primary and high schools alone, or more than 16 times Avigilons's total sales for FY2014 after the exchange rate is factored in.

Some might say these school contracts are not big deal, but I think most would agree that's not the case.
