The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:writing on the wallAll the more reason why PTA will be acquired. We've got to hope a suitor will come in for the land/PTA ,and Parex will counter. Clearly the PTA management team is being held hostage to Parex, and their schedule. It's time to sell the company for what I think will be a significant premium. Just a side note, I own an equal amount of shares in EW as PTA and I'm up 40%. I averaged down in PTA and am still down 40%, and I almost doubled my shares. EW has real potential, and I think PTA does to, and will eventually turn the corner, but I believe they will be acquired before that happens. GL.
