Transformational announcement IMO..A very good NR:
-there are now many more opportunities to in-licence, or buy, products since they serve both the USA and Canada..
-this larger representation will help get them get taken more seriously and more doors will open..
-they likely will be able to find many many products in the $5 mill to $10 mill sales, for the USA market, since this size will be over looked by most pharma companies....these products can be up promoted and in some cased brought to Canada (or vise versa)..
-like with King and Paladin, many small products add up to a big company.
-IMO this (the US strategy) will enable the co to grow much faster, maybe 10X, than a Canadian focused med marketer...
-I see the first product bought by the Barbados new subsidiary also..
-getting a quality executive, US focused, with the purchase, not only fits perfectly with the expansion strategy but appears to have come with the deal..
In summary I am extremely happy with todays announcement
