Help me I do not understand?

Help me I do not understand?
Since the financials were released the company has bought back approximately 430,000 shares.  The shorting group has shorted approximately 700,000 shares  ( As of May 15th 510,000 ) .   A ratio over 1.5 shorts to the buy back.  On May 13 Alex bought 80,000 shares personally.    That day the shorting group kept selling at $17.00 and I assume Alex bought most of his shares from them directly.  Again I do not understand the shorting group?

The company still can buy back approximately 3,500,000 shares back.   As of today the shorting group are short over 2.7 million shares.  Is possible for them to keep shorting on the same ratio?  Let say it becomes 1 to 1 can they short over 6 million shares?

Is the shorting group going to keep using posts to call management bad names?  I think this just pisses them off.  I hope they stop reminding me of management position changes over 14 months ago.

On August 5th will the shorting group be able to short 200,000 to 500,000 shares more after the company misses one of their estimates by a small percentage?   ( that is only if they miss?)

Will the shorts still be able to control the market like they have done in the past?   By controlling  the market they have influenced many good investors to say away.

With all the positive news soon to be coming.  I still believe this company is very undervalued.

Again please me I do not understand???
