Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. Its East Division is comprised of four regions: Central AB, West Sask, East Sask and Weyburn. Its Central Alberta region represents the bulk of its Cardium and liquids-rich Mannville assets.

RE:RE:12.50 a good entrySure  - read Bloomberg, Financial Post, Gkobe and Mail and many others that say all oil stocks are overpriced based on several factors - including 
1) to much oil production
2) Oil up mainly due to USD down
3) Oil tents to go up just before driving season 
4) Oil tends to go down from Jul to Sept 
5) Price targets above are based over 12 months  - not 3 months
6) WCP down around 1 dollar in the last month
7) Book value 10 dollars
Hope this assist  - nothing again WCP as this is a great long term hold with a very niice yeild - but in our view and the factors above  lower oill stock price is near which means WCP may go to 12.50 range for our entry. Also note WCP is liked by many so valuation based on oil proce is high. See below - if oil goes to 67 to 70 dollar range then 14 to 16 dollars is fair  Happy trading
