RE:RE:RE:Sprott's reportC'on thefaberegg: What this says is that Sprott along with Franklin have a major say in LRE & settling for a loss I don't believe is in their cards. If you read the report & the others available on line & do dd you would understand the offerings by LRE.

When I calculate my average price I divide the total amount paid by the total amount of shares I own. I do not factor in any dividend interest to lower my share cost. That is just fudging the numbers. Whether I bought shares ten years ago or last Friday, it still doesn't matter. It is the total cost divided by the total no. of shares.

As to making or losing money - this will be decided when I sell my shares; other than that it is what it is - an investment. The dividend is earned income which I pay taxes on. It may bring comfort & paint a rosy picture but it's purpose is not to lower my share cost - it is my reward for investing & earned.
