I like the dividend adjustment idea

I like the dividend adjustment ideaI agree with Puma 1 . I might take it a step further also . I would raise the dividend to 60 cents from 53 . This would cost next to nothing compared to the 300 million or so in cash . Then they could pay out 5 cents a month . It certainly wouldn't hurt the share price and as Puma 1 said it would probably bump up the share price to 7 dollars . Pensioners like myself appreciate rising dividends and a rise in the share price might create some interest in the company also . I am amazed at the number of companies which have a book value less that Torstar's but which trade in excess of 50 dollars a share .
