While we wait

While we waitIt has been ages since we have seen a meaningful drill program. I decided to go back and refresh myself on past drill results at La Cigarra. I highlighted some of these results below. The deposit is set up nicely for early stage mining (whenever it eventually goes into production). Quite often, the success of a mine if heavily dependent on early stage production. A new mine needs to achieve commercial production smoothly and within a reasonable timeframe, needs to meet debt convenant requirements and needs to achieve positive cash flow status to begin servicing debt. Any significant breakdowns at the early stages of mine startup could put the mine at risk.

La Cigarra is well structured for early stage mining success, in my opinion. La Cigarra is top heavy (bulk tonnage) deposit. It has a lot of excellent drilled intersections that are near surface. Some of the best grades and widest intercepts are somewhat near surface. La Cigarra is also a very controlled (predictable) deposit and well positioned for open pit.

Hopefully they will be in a position to launch the new drill program in the not too distant future. In the map below, the green dots represent places to be drilled in this upcoming program plus future programs.

It`s sad for all tenured Northair investors that management of Northair couldn`t do enough to offset the relentless Pinetree/Inwentash selling pressures over the past 1.5 years (going through 15+ million shares) - the Condire Group tried the best they could to buy up some of these dumped shares. Condire also subscribed to the company`s PP to provide financial support. Northair`s share price has gone from $1.00 (at the height in 2011) to a pathetic $.05 per share now. La Cigarra is such an excellent asset. There is no way it should be trading at anywhere near $.05 ($7.5 million market cap), even in a difficult (suppressed and highly controlled) paper silver price market.

Tenured Northair investors have been hammered hard. Hopefully these folks don`t get squeezed out (with massive losses) before the recovery begins. The last 4 years have been a nightmare for everyone in the space. The depressed silver environment is now in the early parts of the 5th year. New people buying in at these levels will make exponential returns once the situation turns. Hopefully tenured investors will have a chance to participate also.

Northair was incorrectly thrown out with the bathwater.
