mouserman, I disagree that share consolidation is needed. When consolidation or split happens, it does not change any metrics on a relative basis such as CF and PE and other ratios and performance metrics. In a share split situation, most of the times there is a rise in price as more investors get in because of price affordability. In a consolidation, in most cases, prices go down as there is room when other factors don't work out, in PTA's case, bad management, declining production and their production dependent on other operators. Comparing $1 consolidated vs. $0.10 per share, there is more room for shares to go down (psychology) from $1 as opposed to $0.10.
