RE:RE:Time to go long COS

RE:RE:Time to go long COSI agree that US buyers are not there.  Also Cdn buyers are not there.  Most advisors are preaching stay out of oil.  GS keeps saying it's going back to $45.  I can't figure out where they get their info to make that call.

When you look at the hard data, it tells you that the oil market is getting tighter as US production slow and begins to decline,  Yesterday the EIA reported that the total of all seven shale plays peaked in April at 5,694,580 bpd and will decline by 208,782 bpd in July.  I think that is why oil is up today.  How many people know this?  How many can look at this and say oil stks will be a good investment today.  In other words when oil gets up to $80 the advisors might start to look at oil.  Those of us buying now have to be a bit patient until the NDP shows their color at the end of June.  As for the NDP effect, here is an example.

On May 5 WTI closed @ $60.40.  Today it closed at $60.14.  On May 5 COS closed @ 13.48 and CNQ closed at $39.63.  I expect that COS will close around $10.50 today and CNQ at $37.  There is your NDP effect that has to be cleared out
