RE:RE:RE:Key decision looms on future of Pacific NorthWest LNG...Shambano you raised an interesting point I've enquired about here before - how much of an advantage does being up north actually afford us?

To your last point about how LNG isn't the only road to riches for PPY, I keep forgetting that, it's very true. It would just be a nice shortcut!  I'm feeling good about a positive FID, but probably not until the fall.  Your point about the stability and likelihood of an investment in Canada is well-taken given the scale of Petronas needs (in volume and l/t availability). The great thing about a country like ours is the legal system that gives Petronas such stability...but it also gives opponents a means to hold up processes.  I'll feel better once theres an agreement with first nations.

I'm just worried that it's going to be a rocky road to that decision, Canada has no qualms about shutting down perfectly good energy projects for what seems like small, insignificant reasons.  It's an election year and even though there's support from both Liberals and Conservatives, after what happened in Alberta I'm not sure what to expect.

Righand - you're right, I call Roscoe before each post and we strategize...we absolutely work together.  Our goal is to bring the company down very slowly through anonymous message boards like this. As you pointed out he's not an investor, so he has nothing to lose by causing a total s/p collapse through critical discussion.  I'm going to then swoop in with my hundreds of dollars at that point and buy all of your shares. PPY is lucky to have a hard working internet-sheriff like you to keep us at bay.  Good job.
