AG&SM next week

AG&SM next weekI'm still pondering why the BOD would ask shareholders to authorize them to split  the stock 2:1 sometime over the next year.

It could simply be a tactic to try to bluff shorts into covering their positions, but that seems way too obvious and naive of them to even try.

The other possibility is that they believe some major breakthrough, either one event or a series of events, is going to take place in the twelve months after the vote where that would be required to bring some additional liquity to market for the stock.

As the stock was moving up towards its peak in late 2013, it didn't even seem to be someting that had crossed their minds.

I wonder what they see as being different now. Hopefuly, we'll be able to get some additional insight from the meeting
