Thats an excellent way to look at it Hedge. I saw this on twitter and liked the idea but didn't get as deep as you mention. The studios have no way to advertise their 3D movies, in 3D, before they hit the theatre. Everyone goes to the theatre kind of hoping the movie is worth it in 3D. Now, they can actually test the 3D movie out for free from home and then decide to see it at the theatre. Plus, it brings people to 3DGO to see the free previews and some of those people will end up renting a movie from there or coming back later.
It's a win win.
