Merrex getting attention in news

Merrex getting attention in newsNice to see the story starting to get picked up.

From Stockwatch news:

Greg Isenor's Merrex Gold Inc. (MXI) rose 1.5 cents to 21.5 cents on 328,000 shares. The company and joint venturer Iamgold Corp. (IMG: $2.89) are busy drilling at their Siribaya gold project in Mali. Together, the companies budget $3.8-million on work this year, after which they hope to update a 600,000-ounce resource estimate from 2012.

Merrex has also sent geologists to its contiguous gold property, Karita, which crosses into Guinea. The geologists will have to clear out next month, when the rainy season begins. Merrex and Iamgold will also have to pause drilling in Mali because the torrential African rains bring with them hundreds of illegal miners looking for gold nuggets.
