RE:Today's news

RE:Today's news
The expansion in Mexico was to be expected, imo. I'm surprised it happened so quickly, though. Poland will have similar news. Past growth tells us that if Diagnos opens a subsidiary in a country it means that Novartis has big plans for us in that country. Things should be moving forward soon in Argentina and Eastern Europe. On another front, Zeiss sent two of their new handheld visuscout 100 fundus cameras to Canada about a month ago for trial and evaluation. They are also being evaluated for oem compatible software. Diagnos was a recipient of one of the cameras. Diagnos was considering an oem arrangement with Zeiss a few years ago but the camera that zeiss was marketing was too expensive and a little behind in technological advancements. This new camera is less than half the price of the old one, more compact and portable. An oem arrangement with Zeiss would be a perfect fit for our business and a great incentive for the bulls to get off their butts. It would be nice to get two NRs this week.
