BoardAs we turn yet another road we are faced with familiar territory, Praise, Criticism and Reality.
Praise of things to come, hoping that this time things will turn out ok but without taking into consideration past performance which is the only thing we have to base out projections and asumptions.
Criticism for the way things are and have been done, the lack of a concrete plan, the flip-flopping from one thing to another, the still over promising and under delivering, the missed deadlines, the secrecy, the non execution, the disregard for the shareholder, the miscommunication and at times arrogance from the top.
Reality that things are not what they promised yet again and that we need changes or help to straighten the mess and put the house in order.
We need revenues and profits from 3DGo to stay afloat and fuel all other projects and dreams thrown around by Management.
Some people use Netflix as an example, but we could not be any farther from the truth.
We are complete different animals.
3DGo as of now it`s a one horse race (LG), Vizio and Panasonic grew as much as they will,maybe with Marketing and Advertising they could grow more but for some unknown reason SIO refuses to go that way.
It took LG almost nine months from the announcement of the PR till they achieved 100% completion on their launch in the USA, we assume that the Canadian one it`s complete.
Knowing that many times we were told that LG would take three-four months tops to launch and complete set up can we take to the Bank a flawless Samsung launch and completion ??, we hope so, but again they are different animals, mentality wise and glassware.
With all the so called traction we have been getting one would assume that the low number of 50,000 has been achieved, after all we only needed 25.000 new users in 6 months, that amounts to roughly 139 new user-members per day and LG being the 3D King it was a no brainer, but we didn`t as of yet.
That`s a big “oh well”, unacceptable again with no valid excuses.
So they filled the plate yet again, we have the New Format ?, we are re-encoding the whole Library to satisfy the New Format ?, International Launch-Conquest, Samsung launch, maybe another Studio (is it necessary yet ?), all that so far with LG.
Are we building a platform for Samsung ?, if we go back to their 2012 models is a most likely.
That`s a lot of expansion and projects for somebody with barely any money and with a user base of between 25.000 and less than 50.000.
All these things are going on but we don`t even know about the “savior format” or the 13 country expansion, we heard through the grapevine that Spain and Germany`s base were ready.
Secrecy and confidentiality that does not apply , we are shareholders, we suppose to own the Company and pay their salaries.
So I would say that there`s something to praise (hopes and dreams), lots to criticize ( too much to mention,already covered) and the reality is that things have to change once and for all, they have to tell the truth, meet deadlines, get of the secrecy horse, and prioritize the future,put a plan in place and follow it RIGHT.
I`m still in the horse that calls for changes or at least some GOOD HELP at the top, something that would bring order, value and pride to investors.
