RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:BitGold platform for residents of the US and US territories."At what price of gold will certain billionaires throw in the towel on gold mining?"

From what I've seen lately, Sprott entities seem to be throwing a lot of money and expertise at producing gold operations.

Throwing money at producing operations is no guarantee of success; however, BGM's recent M D & A certainly shows an amazing turnaround at the QR mill in the last quarter, despite fairly low gold prices.

IMO, Sprott's name is still likely good for raising capital, and Sprott funds may be interested in taking a gamble with him.

To me, gold is dental work and jewellery; to others it's the cure for the world's financial ills (as long as the price is high enough and they're long on physical gold).

Being an old China hand, I don't believe for one minute that the canny Chinese can solve the world's financial woes (look at the billions they've lost, in Canada and elsewhere, in developing petroleum assets; and they've certainly shown an abysmal inability to keep sticky fingers out of the state's assets and then keeping those assets and the sticky-fingered looters in the country).

IMO, Chinese intervention is a Hail Mary pass writ large.
