Tinka Resources Limited is a Canada-based exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties located in Peru. The Company’s flagship property is Ayawilca Zinc-Silver-tin project, located 200 kilometers (km) northeast of Lima, in the Pasco region of central Peru. The Ayawilca Zinc-Silver project is located 40 km northwest of the Cerro de Pasco mine (copper-zinc-lead-silver), and 100 km south of the giant Antamina mine (copper-zinc). Its Silvia Project consists of 16 granted concessions for 10,906 hectares, located in the Department of Huanuco in central Peru. The project lies approximately 80 km south and along strike of Antamina. The Company has also granted with two mining concessions totaling 1,200 hectares, namely Pampahuasi Property. The Colquipucro silver Zone is located 1.5 km north of the Ayawilca Zinc Zone.

RE:RE:RE:A question for TinkabellYou're welcome guys and gals.  I usually don't post much since there is not much info to be had.  It took me 3 calls to get through to the company spokesperson, but I am persistent.  I do believe, from dealings with another company that I own, that it is hard to get financing for any small cap miner now adays.  The fact that TK has Sentient and the other large financier (I forgot thier name) putting money in through the subscription to new shares issued, means they expect good results. I still believe in Tinka's assets, and think they will surprise us with some new drill results once they report later on this summer.  I don't know who the CEO was visiting in Toronto this last week (and Montreal as well) but it was the reason he wasn't presenting at the Sprott conference like I said.  Let's hope the share price rises to give us a reward for all our patience.
