Yes, so they don't lose it.  They have one year to spud the well from date of issuance on well license. If they do not spud, they basically lose it and have to start over.

Most times its not a big deal.. but for Edge right now its a solid plan to drill it.  They planned to obviously drill it anyway.. so why not while costs are discounted if they can afford it which they obviously can.
