RE:RE:RE:RE:3 - 5 BaggersHi jdn55, what do you make of this from diggers? I removed those offending words so you guys do not go at each other again. I am certainly learning as a newbee.
From diggers:
Just comparing share price does not tell you the story. Should have compared market cap of the companies.
.
At the top,
AKG was about $9/share with market cap 100M shares * $9.00 = $900M; and
AGG was about $1/share with market cap 100M shares * $1.00 = $100M.
.
Today,
AKG is worth about 200M shares * $2.20 = $440M (a drop of about 50%); and
AGG is worth about 225M shares * $0.045 = $10M (a drop of a whopping 90%)?!
.
For AKG, a buyout say at $600M ($3/share) (just look at the GUY's market cap), it's only a loss of about 33% for people who bought at the top.
.
Now, even if AGG has a 3-bagger now to $0.18 ($40M market cap), it's still a loss of a whopping 60% for people who bought at the top.
.
That is assuming AGG still can have a 3-bagger from its current sp while I only assuming AKG has half-bagger (not even 1 bagger) from current sp.
.
So, which one is better in terms of investment? AKG or AGG?
