The Company's downstream operations include upgrading and refining operations in Canada and the United States, and commercial fuel operations across Canada.

With the culmination of this deal CVE is looking like a good acquisition target. It has a good balance sheet, good assets and a relatively low stock price. I am also hearing that they are ready to make much deeper cuts in terms of staff members to accommodate a new slimmer organization. That all adds up to a good target but does not mean that anything will necessarily happen. If there is a suitor then IMO would probably be the best bet but they tend to be overly cautious.
