Read the disclaimer. This only includes votes they know about outside of Canada. I.e. votes submitted with their proxy form. It is likely an extremely biased form of polling. I'm not sure their numbers mean much of anything.
Tcelling, did you read the news release.....O'Hara has at least 116MM NO votes, that is over 30 % of the shares ALREADY CONFIRMED NO.... that's is why the company delayed the meeting. The next step for Alfa is to work out a deal with O'Hara that will lock this up for them. Alfa is a 20 billion dollar a year company, they will be able to pay a extra 1-2 dollars per share for the vertical integration that they get from PRE. Time to have Alfa and PRE put their EGO's aside and pay.....
Yes, I read it. I took the disclaimer to mean they extrapolated based on the votes they know of to get that number, not a true count. Perhaps this is wrong yet I can't figure out how they would have been able to count that many NO votes. That is pretty crazy if that is true. They must have gotten pretty much all institutional investors to vote with them, which would be very shocking to me.
Interesting times, no doubt.
