Hello George, Thank you for contacting Bedrocan. On May 19th, 2015, Bedrocan announced approval by Health Canada to activate 12 additional growing rooms at our domestic facility. To date, 18 of a total of 34 production rooms, as well as our trimming and drying rooms, have been inspected and licensed. With the new approvals, we now have the capacity of producing 2,000 kg per year, and that will rise to 4,000 kg per year as we receive Health Canada approval for the rest of our fully-completed facility. This marks a major increase in our capacity to produce medicinal cannabis and meet patient demand for standardized, pharmaceutical-grade cannabis. Our first domestic product strain was harvested on May 25, 2015, with additional first domestic crops harvested through June 2015. Bedrocan remains the only LP capable of producing standardized full-bud medicinal cannabis meaning that the product patients receive is consistent in potency and therapeutic effect, for every single shipment over time. The ordering process for existing customers will not be affected in any way. And as domestic production increases, we will have much higher capacity to meet the needs of both existing and new customers. The product customer receive will be exactly the same, and we will keep applying the principles of continuous improvement to our customer care processes, to ensure our patients have a smooth, dependable and friendly experience in accessing the medicine they need. Our domestic product is exactly the same as the Bedrocan product patients have been receiving since February 2014. Each strain is grown from genetically-identical clones, under the same exacting production standards as our imported product, resulting in the industrys only standardized full-bud medicinal cannabis. This ensures the product patients receive is consistent in potency and therapeutic effect, for every single shipment over time. Our product prices will remain the same, at $7.50 per gram for each of our strains. Bedrocans medicinal cannabis has been irradiated, as required by the Dutch Ministry of Health, for 13 years, in order to ensure there is no possibility of microbial contaminants such as bacteria or moulds. Our domestic product will continue to be irradiated to ensure absolute purity, at least for the first several months of production. However, Bedrocan is also exploring means of guaranteeing the same level of product purity without the need for irradiation, which may eliminate the need for this step in the future. We estimate delivering domestic product to Canadian patients in July 2015, once first batches have been reviewed and approved by Health Canada. I hope this information helps.
