RE:RE:RE:Dip in stock priceVeracruz,

Thanks for asking the quesiton about jobs in GA.  I had some fund doing some basic research and reading today.  I found a few items today to share:

The Solar Foundation said 2,890 in November 2014, a 12.8% increase from the prior year.  This isn't a lot, but it seems that from the report (I skimmed) that GA is well under potential and can continue to grow.  https://www.thesolarfoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Georgia-Solar-Jobs-Census-2014.pdf

GA Power has its own solar and green pages (I don't trust marketing from GA Power) which state they are interested in investing in green.  GA Power is owned by the Southern Company (stock SO) https://www.georgiapower.com/about-energy/energy-sources/solar/georgia-solar-projects.cshtml

An Atlanta Blog jobs tripled from 2012 to 2013 to ~2,600  https://atlantaforward.blog.ajc.com/2015/03/25/the-rise-of-georgia-solar/

To me this is a huge reversal of southeastern US political stance and corporate mindset (i.e. no gloabl warming to maybe we should care about our environment).  If the stubborn mindset of this area is thrawing, real investment can take place.  It feels like the tide is turning with increasing employment and investment

Although, I thought I read or heard the solar in GA was originally private capital, perhaps GA Power is buying them out or partnering with them.  i.e. stop fighting the trend and embrassing it.
