RE:The financial reality

RE:The financial realityEagle55...sometime the obvious is not so obvious. People that loose their jobs are helped. People that loose their health are helped. People that flee their country for many reasons are helped. Look where Greece sits between the west and the middle east. Perhaps they have costs we are not privy to know at this time. Maybe more security costs , less tourism , less manufacturing etc. Like you say just look at Russia ready to move in if the west fails them. Greece will play hard ball because they have no choice in my opinion. They simply need help. Soon the people of the west will need help if we do not have fair trade with countries like China and India. Every job that heads east will affect someone here in the west. Then as the low end jobs struggle so will the professionals soon start to struggle. It has a lot to do with the tax base. Greece does not have a good tax base. May not be their fault. We do not live in their shoes. I don't consider Greece as a wealthy , prosperous country. They had a vote. It is up to the wealthy countries to decide how this will turn out. It is more up to the banks and the owners of wealth how the debt will be distributed. Gold used to help solve these issues. Can paper and plastic take the place of gold?? The west has not yet learned from the last recession. We have not recovered and are not going to recover as long as we fight wars and ship our jobs away and loose our tax base.
