Perhaps we should thank FB by going and liking the Alterra page! :)
This does make me think: datacenters can sort of be anywhere (yes, you need the infrastructure); with technology companies pushing the green movement perhaps we will see an increase of data centers close to renewable energy sites.
Maybe Alterra should continuing teaming up with larger tech companies and build sites in partnership (direct ownership or support).
