Not to sound excessively bullish or anything, but.. No one is predicting oil going to $100, but when oil was $100 absolutely no one predicted $50 oil either. The doom and gloom predictions were more like $65, and those were the real bears. So although I wouldn't hold my breath for $100, I wouldn't be shocked if we were there within a year or 2. I think the long-term ramifications of $50 oil will be an equal over-reaction in the other direction when those BNN guys start coming to the conclusion that the best way to take money out of everyone else's pockets and put it into their pockets is to go long. At some point they will, because at some point they'll all conclude that it's easier to drive oil up than it is to make it go down further. They will always take the easiest path to padding their bonus'. But for the past year, the easiest path has been doom and gloom on oil, so that's what they've done.
