RE:RE:RE:Interest from down under

RE:RE:RE:Interest from down underA few years ago I sent an letter to Warren Buffett to alert him on the Canadian oil sand industry and told him I thought Berkshire might be wise to investigate possible invesments. He sent my letter back and said "not for us James" and signed it WB.I think he brushed me off.But he he did hop on a plane with Bill Gates and toured Canadian Naturals oil sand project. He now has invested in Suncor. I can't say that was because of my introduction, but it must have peaked his interest.

When Winspear got the hostile bid from Debeers(I was the only guy in the world to think they would bid). The bid got rejected so I calleed Debeers and told them if they raise the bid to $5 then I thought it would find support. They did.Was it bacause of my phone call? I can not say for sure. But I was vindicated on the boards when every one though my take over speculation was a pump.

I can not say if my work on PGD will attract a take over bid or JV,but that does not mean I should stop trying to find a partner to introcuce to PGD to help us fund the mine.I still think one day Debeers will own Chidliak, not because of anything I do but rather they need it.

James
