robybob, I agree with almost everything you presented about billboards in that you should never invest solely based on what you read on any of these public forums.  I once compared them to entertainment with some valuable quality information delineated to the group once in a while by some very well educated members who are willing, for some reason, to pass on their knowledge freely. Whatever their reason, it's  appreciated and valuable.

They are full of opinion which can be a good thing.  I don't believe they are only populated with non rich people who spend their time doing what rich people do, and I will leave it at that, JMHO.

I've also mentioned in the past that the knowledge on these billboards has increased leaps and bounds.  There was a day when people were asking, what is a dyke, a kimberlite and so on.  Now the questions are far more sophisticated and will continue in that vain, because, in part, of the bullboards.  So one could surmise, they have been helpful for many in many ways, and yes, if you use what you read here as your only investment tool, you might be making a mistake.  Along with cash, knowledge is king.
