Sorry Jkay, but PBI 4050 is not biologic, it's a chemical formula developped by former researchers from Shire hired by Prometic 12 or 13 years ago when Biochem Pharma has been taken over by Shire.
Some of these researchers are from the same team who worked to develop medication against Aids and like P.L said in some former interviews, they are ready to hit an other grand slam if the clinical trials prove to be successful.
That's why when people talk about PlI, they talk about 2 great different platforms, one being the PPPS to extract the proteins from Plasma and the other being from this team of researchers who work to develop new drugs.
