Alternate Symbol(s):  FTMDF

Fortune Minerals Limited is a mining company. It is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in Canada. It is focused on developing the NICO Cobalt-Gold-Bismuth-Copper Project in the Northwest Territories and Alberta that produces a bulk concentrate for shipment to a refinery that it plans to construct in southern Canada. It also owns the satellite Sue-Dianne copper-silver-gold deposit located 25 kilometers (km) north of the NICO Deposit and is a potential future source of incremental mill feed to extend the life of the NICO mill and concentrator. It also maintains the right to repurchase the Arctos anthracite coal deposits in northwest British Columbia. It also has a 100% interest in these 116 hectares of property south of Great Slave Lake with copper, silver, gold, lead and zinc showings. It has a 1% net smelter royalty covering 78 hectares of land positioned in a former silver mining district, located south of the Eldorado mining district at Great Bear Lake.

dead in the water-doubt it

dead in the water-doubt itI think Robin and group have too much personal pride to let this go bankrupt. I agree we lost a lot in the gamble with RSM; however, if silver was $25 per oz we would all think they were geniouses. We all learne from that venture-what we are capable of and what we are not capable of. The Tlicho are smart enough to realize that a mine, like NICO, does not come along everyday. Fortune has build up a trusting relationship with them over 20 years. They want their chilren and grandchildren to work on their land, or in close proximity, so they can have less travel time away from their families and their business ventures can prosper with everyone else. It will take some work; however, I believe the ground work has already laid the foundation. It may not be a success overnight, but it will come. I predict .25 cents in two years. We just need a little luck and good governance.
