i do agree with you that nothing is ever safe to assume with this stock.  i  decided to add shares the other day only after convincing myself that the value of the asset would support the stock price in the event that the deal falls apart.  i could see another offer being thrown their way for about the same price.  i still would not be surprised if this deal falls through or, as you hinted, another extension is granted.  it will be an interesting open on monday unless we get news prior.
