Like all of the recent posts   ---- this drop in price certainly seems  goofy in light of how mortgages are created and insured in Canada.  I have always thought that the shorters did more work researching their positions than those who go long  ----- maybe I have been wrong about that. Also,  I am surprised that US investors really pay that much attention to Canadian stocks to the extent that they are the big shorters  ---- hard to believe.
