RE:52 week low

RE:52 week lowI agree totally to your comments and wish it were the case. However, how much exposure do the Canadian banks have to any connection to China or Asia in general. Also, compare that to 10 years ago. At present, we live in a increasingly globally integrated world and it changes considerably by the year. I read a few articles, which mentioned some of the main reasons for slow growth throughout the world arises from globalization. This may be reasons for the anemic growth since the financial crisis in Canada. Probably even 10 years ago CIBC was looking for more clients in remote areas of Canada. Today, those clients are most likely elsewhere in the world and may or may not have connections to Canada. I don't think it is coincidental the banks are falling due to issues solely to Canada. There has been a buy outside Canada philosophy for awhile in the media, and banks have considerably more assets outside Canada than the past.
