RE:RE:Words of wisdomI'm not saying cheap products aren't atttractive and can't be used for some applications, but I've also seen what can happen to companies when they try to promote cheap at all costs.

Speaking of margins, if a company like Hikvision wasn't pumping out the volume they are with the help of Chinese government contracts, nost people wouldn't find their 42% gross margin as attractive.

If Avigilon gets in to the retail gamein the the U.S., they might also have a bone to pick with the FTC about them and the impression their branding can leave with consumers there given that their manufacturing doesn't take place in the U.S., which could be a huge blow to a major competitor's U.S. expansion plans.
