RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bankrupt Companiesyes, I agree, the company is worth more than current market cap. one accounting concept here that you should research is the going concern principal. it basically states that all the accounting rules are based on the premise the company is not about to go bankrupt tomorrow. because if it is, none of the accounting numbers matter and they only thing that matters is what you can get in a fire sale..........so when you see a high risk stock crashing, the market is pricing in a firesale. book just does not work as a great metric when looking at commodity and energy and prices are fluctuating. FV of assets does......and the FV depends on your pricing assumptions......if you think the price of oil is going up then guess what this company is undervalued!!!! if the opposite, it is not.
