Savers Value Village Inc V.SVV

Primary Symbol: SVV

Savers Value Village, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, sells second-hand merchandise in retail stores located in the United States (U.S.), Canada and Australia. Its segments include U.S. Retail and Canada Retail. It provides low-priced merchandise ranging from clothing to home goods in a treasure-hunt shopping environment. It purchases secondhand textiles, shoes, accessories, housewares, books and other goods from its non-profit partners, either directly from them or via on-site donations at Community Donation Centers at its stores and through GreenDrop locations. It then processes, selects, put price, merchandise and sells these items in its stores. The items that are not sold to its retail customers are marketed to wholesale customers, who reuse or repurpose the items they purchase from the Company. It operates over 326 stores under the Savers, Value Village, Village des Valeurs, Unique and 2nd Ave. banners. It also owns a thrift store chain with seven locations in Georgia.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Taking a look at Talbot......Willard, you are killing me... I've avoided this thread just because your post was there. I NOW understand how you were going to get 250 ounces of silver if SVV moved up 2 cents. If you could just concentrate on this one particular stock and not get into all your "world is ending stuff" we might be able to help each other navigate our way through owning Solvista. That wouldn't be that bad, would it? I do have a little experience with mining stocks and also macro-economics so I might not be that bad a person to discuss things with. I really appreciate the way you live and I am in some ways envious. Could you just try to meet me halfway and just discuss Solvista rather than expounding on how the whole world is going to heck in a handbasket? If you keep giving me lectures on how the whole world is going then I don't want to talk to you. If you want to talk about this particular stock then I'll talk about it. QUIT feeling sorry for yourself and just talk to me.
