WHAT IS NEWMARKET WORTH ?????

WHAT IS NEWMARKET WORTH ?????GENTLEMEN... MY THOUGHTS ON NEWMARKET GOLD....

OK,,, We have been told they earned 24 cents in the first 1/2 of 2015 and 10 cents in the 2nd 1/4. This means they earned 14 cents in the first 1/4.  The fall from 14 cents to 10 cents between the 1st and 2nd gives me some cause for concern.

Three months ended June 30, Six months ended June 30

Notes                                         2015  2014  2015  2014

Income per share - basic* $ 0.10 $ 0.03 $ 0.24 $ 0.01
Income per share - diluted* $ 0.10 $ 0.03 $ 0.23 $ 0.01

I believe most of the fall in net income of 4 cents per share can be found in page 1 of the

CONDENSED INTERIM CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
(Stated in United States dollars)
As at and for the three and six months ended June 30, 2015 and 2014
(Unaudited)

Exchange differences on translating foreign operations

825,596 1,485,821 (7,212,284) 9,000,343

What the heck does "Exchange differences on translating foreign operations" mean?????
And why did it fall from + 825,596  for the first 3 months to minus (7,212,284)  for the 6 months.

OK,,, I answered my own question,, This is the conversion of assets and liabilities in Australian dollars to American dollars on the balance sheet date..  Whoa,,,, major loss..... LOL....

If we assume Newmarket can make 10 cents per quarter or 40 cents per year,, then they should be given a minimum P/E of 10X or $4.00 per share..

I believe they will earn more than 40 cents per year and should be given a P/E higher than 10..

The share price has just broken $1.00, below which many of the mutual fund can not purchase as they are considered penny stocks..

An analyst was asking questions during the conference call and I feel sure he will soon issue a report and am sure it will be positive.

Nothing but blue sky in front of us, gentlemen.... You have the buy of the year staring you in the face..  This stock will move when the funds start moving in and word gets out to the general public.

GLTA,,, Willie
