RE:Disgruntled employees
RE:Disgruntled employeesYeah right , they miners who go into the bowels of the earth , never knowing if they'll see the sun again take no risk. They will work under unsupported ground while it literally falls around them , installing ground support so their colleagues can work with less risk. They are subject to be gassed by carbon monoxide every shift , they endure the splitting headaches that nitroglycerine imposes on those who handle it, and on and on and on... but they take no risks. Life underground might not be as dangerous as it was but its still pretty hazardous. Of course the guy who had the balls to report the infractions , knowing that it might cost him his job could easily have been a mill operator or surface laborer ( probably was , in fact , since its already been reported that the disgruntled miners voted with their feet and walked out weeks ago) and a typical mill if full of cancer causing chemicals used in flotation , but they take no risk either do they?? This is not a safe secure comfortable industry where everybody works downtown in an office punching keyboard. Learn to respect the guys who work at the frontline of the primary industries please.
