The eternal optimist.  Who said commodity markets are rational.  If they were there would be little opportunity for any profit.

Anyone take exception with variable x% dividend?  Seems confused yet I get the drift.

Share price is variable.  That's a given.  To fix a percentage payment is a different class of security.
