Sure. They still have one of the fastest growth rate in their industry. That hasn't changed.

Even Hikvision, with all it's heft, cheap Chinese labour, and guraranteed Chinese government contracts, only grew revenue at 60.2% in FY2014, while Avigilon grew 52.2% Y/Y. Hikvison's gross margin for the full year last year was also only 44.2% to Avigilon's 56.6%, so please go tell that story to someone else.

I won't be surprised if one of Avigilon's first patent litigation targets is Hikvison, and if I were them, I wouldn't be trying to squeeze cash out of them. although that could probably be very profitable. I'd be be playing hardball and trying to block them out of as much of the U.S, market as they can.

That would send a nice message across the industry.
